2017 Employee Voice Survey

All employees and physicians of Summa Health received an invitation to participate in the 2017 Employee Voice and Physician Engagement Surveys administered by the consulting firm Press Ganey Associates, Inc. It will only take a few minutes to complete and your opinions will provide valuable information on how we can improve employee engagement here at Summa Health. All employees will receive feedback on the survey results and action plans will be developed based on the results. Your participation is strongly encouraged and greatly appreciated.

What to Do:
Follow this link www.summahealth.org/voicesurvey to take the survey now. There will be prize drawings each week for participants. Take the survey early to increase your chance to win a prize and let your voice be heard.


New Behavioral Health Services in Hudson

Summa Health Behavioral Health Institute has expanded its Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) into the Hudson community. IOPs are designed for people who require a higher level of care than weekly or monthly treatment can provide. Programs run three days a week for 16 – 20 sessions and can treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addiction and more. Day and evening appointments are available.

What to Do:
Call 330.319.9768 for the Addiction Medicine IOP and 330.319.9755 for the Behavioral Health IOP.


Summa Health Employee Benefits and Wellness Fairs “Pathway to a Balanced Life”

The Employee Benefits and Wellness Fairs will take place the week of Oct. 23, prior to Summa Health’s Annual Open Enrollment, which begins Oct. 30. Life goals such as nutritious eating, personal growth and becoming financially sound are reachable. Visiting the fairs will allow you to connect with benefit vendors such as Delta Dental, VSP, Fidelity Investments and SummaCare. Summa Health expert providers (i.e., Summa Health Bariatric Care Center), local YMCA’s, our Employee Assistance Program and Summa Wellness Works will also be present. New to our fairs this year - the Summit County Metro Parks and Summit Co. Sheriff’s Office to share safe driving tips. Raffle prizes and refreshments will be available.

View the flier for more information, including dates and times, and attend the fair the week of Oct. 23.


Construction Update

New Barberton Parking Lot Completed at Barberton

The new parking lot at Barberton Campus will be opening soon. This parking lot is the first step in making preparations to remove the parking deck at Barberton.

The new parking deck will feature:

  • 333 parking spaces
  • Underground storm water retention capacity of 25,328 cubic feet or 189,467 gallons
  • 6 bio retention cells that include large rock, plants and soil system that filters the run-off water prior to entering the storm system
  • 7 Avigilon high definition CCTV cameras and 3 safety phones
  • LED lighting with a total energy draw of only 4 amps (at 480V)

What to Do:
Watch for the parking lot to open soon. Look for signage indicating where employees can park.


ADP FSA Transition to WageWorks

The system migration from ADP to WageWorks is complete. Please note the following:

  • The participant website changed from adp.com to wageworks.com effective Oct. 9 (e.g., myspendingaccount.adp.com becomes myspendingaccount.wageworks.com).
  • The new mobile app became available yesterday. The new app will replace any existing ADP apps that you currently use to access your spending account information.
  • Click here for the FAQ/overview or click here for the User Guide to learn more about the new Spending Account Mobile App.

What to Do:

  • Update your internet favorites/bookmarks with the new WageWorks web address.
  • If you use an existing ADP mobile app to access your spending account information, you will need to download the new app to continue mobile access.
