“Violence: enABLE™ Yourself to Respond”

Enroll in a four-hour program created through the collaboration of Summa Health’s Safety & Emergency Preparedness, Protective Services and Nursing departments. After completion of the training program, participants will be able to discuss how building a framework for response can increase confidence when confronted with a violent/fearful situation. Participants will receive 3.66 contact hours for completing this training.

Summa Health HR Employee Development invites you to attend an informational webinar to learn about the professional development opportunities available for Summa Health employees through the Leadership Institute. The webinar’s topics include an overview of the 2018 workshop event schedule, access to online learning, as well as personalized individual and team coaching services provided by our internal development coaches. Conflict Resolution & Negotiation Styles

Because no two individuals have exactly the same expectations and desires, conflict is a natural part of our interactions with others. This workshop combines a self-assessment, case study review and group discussion on various conflict strategies designed to improve an individual's ability to successfully handle workplace conflict.

Discovering Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, assess, control and express emotions which, based on research, has a strong impact on leadership potential. Awareness of emotional intelligence enhances an individual’s ability to achieve organizational outcomes through better decision making, higher levels of performance, and developing influential leadership. This workshop includes a self-assessment that will provide insight into your capacity for self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Open to all employees.
