Contact Fittings at Discounted Price

The Ophthalmology Department is fitting patients for disposable soft contact lenses at a discounted price. This can be monovision, bifocal or single vision contacts, but does not include toric lenses (astigmatism).

The process requires two appointments: a dilated medical exam and then a fitting exam. The dilated medical exam is billed to your insurance and you are responsible for any co-pay. Make sure it is time for your insurance to cover the exam. The fitting exam for contacts is a self-pay service. The cost is $20.00 and is due at time of check in. Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover are accepted.

Any subsequent visits related to the fit of the contacts are covered with the $20.00 charge. Once the prescription is finalized you will receive a written prescription for contacts that you can fill at the location of your choice. The Ophthalmology department does not sell the contacts; they only do the fitting.

What to Do:
Call 330.375.4831 to schedule the appointments.
